On Sunday July 5th post the Terrington Tigers FC presentation day, a number of past Terrington players came together to participate in the annual veterans game for The KING FOWLER CUP.
The original fixture for this game in July 2013 was played in memory of former Terrington player Alan Rasberry.
The fixture has continued over the past 2 years with the 2 village pubs, The King William and The Wildfowler competing for The KING FOWLER CUP.
Players must be 40 or over, and either live in Terrington St Clement or have played for a Terrington Team at any time in the past.
This year’s game saw The King William retain the trophy winning 1-0, the only goal of the game coming 5 minutes from the end scored by King Captain Jason Nicholls. The Man of the Match award went to King William player Gary Hill.
A post match collection raised £120 for the Terrington MUGA appeal.
Thanks to players, spectators and all those that took part.
